  1. Dear Y6/7,
I have just sat down with a coffee and your blog to have a break at the end of a long day.

    So much depends upon
    a poem or two
    to keep us company
at the end of a long day.

How's that? Not bad, I thought!

Some of the poems made me laugh, some of them made me imagine interesting pictures in my head. Maybe some of your poetry will make me cry? Please keep writing. I am looking forward to reading it all!

  2. Dear Y6/7,
Ms Alisa sent a message to say that the blog was finished for this term, so I have just logged on to have a look. The first thing that has impressed me is the number of poems! Wow! You have written such a lot this term.

In my last comment, I wondered if some of your poetry would make me cry. Well, this time it has.

Poetry is an amazing thing, how it can make you see, make you hear, make you feel, just like music. Your poems have made me see pictures and places, hear sounds and feel many emotions. Some poems have made me smile, other poems have made me laugh out loud, others have made me cry.

I am proud to know such talented poets. I hope that there will be more to read on this blog soon. Thank you for sharing your poems with us. We are privileged to be allowed to read them.

    Ms X
